Dr. Alicia A. Hall is a Board Certified Family Physician and a medical entrepreneur. She serves as President and CEO of her own medical corporation, Alicia A. Hall, MD, Incorporated, encompassing the medical practices of Advanced Care Centers which serve the Tennessee, Kentucky, and Indiana regions. With a strong emphasis on prevention and wellness, she provides primary health care for the total family and pioneers non-invasive, office-based proctology treatment.
As an accomplished physician, Dr. Hall has been featured several times in America’s Top Family Doctor magazine. Dr. Hall believes in giving back to the community with her time and resources. Her volunteer experiences include medical and humanitarian missions to Zimbabwe and Israel. She enjoys mentoring and serves as a preceptor for health profession students from the schools of Meharry, Vanderbilt, University of Tennessee, and Tennessee State University. She also volunteered for eight years with the Tennessee Biker Free Health Clinic. She has served the medically underserved through participation in the National Health Service Corps.
Dr. Hall engages in public speaking and medical television and radio broadcasts. She has been on the speaker panel for the Live Empowered Council of the American Diabetes Association. Dr. Hall has appeared on medical television broadcasts for NBC, FOX, and Christian Television networks in Louisville, KY and Nashville, TN. Her radio broadcasts have included weekly Health Tips on “In Perspective” on Nashville’s 102.1 FM and an appearance on the “Body Talk” segment of the Intelligent Talk Show on Louisville, Kentucky’s 900 AM. Dr. Hall also uses social media platforms to broadcast her own video health moments and health tips via her Advanced Care Centers Facebook page.
Dr. Hall’s education includes a Bachelor of Science degree from Spelman College of Atlanta, GA and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Meharry Medical College of Nashville, TN. Dr. Hall completed residency training in Family Medicine through East Tennessee State University-Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN.
Dr. Hall is an affiliated staff member of Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital and is a member of the American and Tennessee Academies of Family Practice. Dr. Hall has also been involved in the Nashville Academy of Medicine and the Spelman and Meharry Alumni Associations. Her most recent involvement is with the Tennessee Women in Medicine.
Dr. Hall’s mission is to serve God and mankind with compassion and excellence by educating, encouraging, and empowering individuals towards optimal health and longevity. She currently resides in Nashville, practicing mostly in her downtown Nashville office. In her free time, you may find her at any given YMCA, a musical venue with friends, or spending time with her dog Wesley toting him to doggie parks.
