Laura Dahl, Principal Broker and Owner of Music City Experts, LLC a deliberately different residential real estate firm located in Franklin, TN. Laura is the daughter of a successful Realtor and can remember asking her mother at the dining room table if they could talk about anything other than real estate. Now, her children do the same to her. Laura brings over 20 years of experience selling residential real estate. She has been a broker in VA, SC, and in TN.
Laura earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Criminal Justice from Old Dominion University where she intended to pursue a career in federal law enforcement. The universe, however; had different plans for her as real estate has always been her calling and where she has built a name for herself.
Laura is a former military spouse and opened her first real estate firm Advanced Real Estate Company, LLC in Beaufort, South Carolina. This coastal town is where Laura established a reputable and competitive firm in a little over 3 years. The owners of the ReMax franchise were so impressed with her, they sold their franchise and affiliated with her company. Despite the declining economy, when her husband was transferred out of South Carolina, Laura was able to sell her firm to one of the largest Coldwell Banker franchises in the Lowcountry.
When Laura moved to Nashville in 2010, she was unsure if real estate would again become her career of choice, but she quickly discovered that Nashville was a prime market for investors and a great market to excel in. She then worked over the next 5 years, helping others build their businesses while getting her own business established. During this time, Laura spent a lot of time mentoring and coaching other agents. It was during this time that she realized she had a gift for inspiring, mentoring and helping other agents grow their business.
In October of 2017, Laura opened Music City Experts, LLC. While her firm is still quite small, they are mighty. She is proud of the team she has assembled as they have vast experience and knowledge in multiple areas such as equestrian properties and farms, downtown condos, East Nashville and Madison Development, New Construction, Lake properties, relocation, and first time home buyers.
Laura serves on the board for S.A.F.E., a nonprofit organization that helps provide a Safe, Affirming, Family Environment for foster families while supporting Foster Youth through their various programs. She lives in Franklin with her partner Erin and her two sons, Zachary and Owen.
