Tammy Taylor is the President and CEO of One EnTiTy, a full service entertainment consulting firm based in Nashville, TN. Under her leadership, One EnTiTy makes an indelible and distinctive difference in the gospel music industry by focusing its work on project management, event planning, promotions and marketing, branding and artist management, and artistic direction.
Ms. Taylor formerly lead the Nashville Network of the National Association of Black Female Executives in Music and Entertainment (NABFEME), which under her leadership established its first mentoring program for up-and-coming youth, young adult and women of color in the music industry. Additionally, she chairs the Urban/Contemporary/Gospel Screening Committee for the GMA Dove Awards, is a member of its Awards & Criteria Committee, serves on the GMA Hall of Fame Committee, and formerly served as the Chapter Representative of the Nashville Chapter of the Gospel Music Workshop of America, Inc. (GMWA).
Earlier in her career, Ms. Taylor served as General Manager of Podium Records (founded by the Late Bishop G. E. Patterson); Executive Administrative Assistant and Director of Radio Promotions for Aleho Enterprises; Marketing and Promotions Coordinator for Gospo Centric and B-Rite Music; and, Regional Promotions Representative for the ND Company.
Over the past 27 years, Taylor honed her talent coordinating live recordings, DVD (formerly VHS) productions, artists’ retreats, recording sessions, musicals, tours, cable television tapings, music conferences, cultural expos, and international gospel festivals. Today, she has established an unparalleled reputation for being a take-charge professional with a penchant for promotions, marketing and artistic direction. She invariably understands the art, craft and science of the music industry and how to effectively lead business leaders, artists, vocalists, musicians and those behind the scenes in their pursuit of excellence and impact. Her genuine passion for gospel music has only served to sharpen that gifting and prowess.
Ms. Taylor has shared in the success of projects including Michael McDonald (Motown and Christmas Projects), Yolanda Adams, T.D. Jakes, Kirk Franklin, Trin-i-tee 5:7, God’s Property, the late Walter Hawkins, GMWA Women of Worship, The Preacher’s Wife, Angela Spivey, Sis. Ms. Taylor has worked with The Movie Production: Redemption Road, The Grammy Salute To Gospel, Preliminary Judge for BET’s Sunday Best Competition, The International Music Dept of COGIC, The Gospel Music Workshop Of America, The Gospel Announcer’s Guild of GMWA, The Bobby Jones Show, The Stellar Awards, The Dove Awards, The Barbados Gospel Fest, The Gospel Heritage Foundation Praise & Worship Conference, The Gospel Super Fest New Artist Showcase, Edwin Hawkins Music and Arts Seminar, Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee Affiliate Guild Chapters, Indiana State Fair Gospel Day and Gospel SuperFest Battle of the Bands.
Ms. Taylor’s commitment to the music industry reaches far beyond her role at One EnTiTy. Presently, she’s committed to working for the organization “Strengthening The Black Church For The 21st Century.” SBC21 is an organization that is designed to assist congregations to become more efficient in mission and ministry. One of those components is a National Prison Summit on Mass incarceration.
Whether through singing in local nursing homes, pitching in with flood renovations in Nashville, coordinating clothing drives for those devastated by natural disasters, or participating in international philanthropic efforts such as Kirk Franklin presents Artists United for Haiti, Tammy Taylor is consistently present, accounted for, and poised to extend the reach and power of gospel music to those who may feel the most forgotten.
A native of Indianapolis, IN, Ms. Taylor attended Indiana University Purdue University where she majored in Organizational Communication and minored in Business.
