Dolores Greenwald is the Executive Director of the Williamson County Public Library. She has compiled over 20 years of increasingly responsible positions in the public library profession.

A Mobile, Alabama native, she brings extensive education credentials and significant experience to the Williamson County Public Library. She holds a BA in Political Science, MA degree in History, and an MS in Library Science.

Greenwald brings her experience to Williamson County from working in Boston, MA and Dallas, TX. While working for Boston Public Library, she was employed at the Roxbury Branch and worked with numerous community organizations there including the Urban League.

During her time in Dallas, TX Dolores worked for the Dallas Public Library, Flower Mound Public Library, and served as Director of the Sachse Public Library. While in Dallas, Greenwald had the opportunity to participate in the TALL (Texas Accelerated Library Leadership) Texas Institute and participated in Leadership Sachse.

Dolores joined the Williamson County Public Library as its Director in July 2011. With her guidance, the Williamson County Public Library formed a publishing imprint service named Academy Park Press. The press has published two books in house, Bullets and Bayonets, and the picture book Bucky & Bonnie’s Library Adventure.

Currently, she serves the Williamson County community in various organizations, as a member of the Franklin Noon Rotary, on the executive boards of both Franklin Tomorrow and of the Old Glory Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and serves as President of the Allied Arts Club. She is a member of the 2012 class of Leadership Franklin.
