Emily has worked in the nonprofit sector her entire career. She has served as the Development and Community Relations for Waves for the past five years. Waves is a 45-year-old nonprofit serving children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Williamson County.
She is a wife to Forrest and a mother to Jackson and Charlotte. Three years ago, she became a parent in the Waves Early Learning Program when her daughter was born weighing only 1lb 10oz. Through her time as an Early Learning parent, she gained a better understanding of the need for Waves’ services in our community and has used that experience to help Waves continue to grow to serve more families.
