“Kim Ferguson works for the corporate office of La Quinta Hotels as a Regional Field Sales Manager. She has 30 plus years in the Middle Tennessee hospitality industry. Her hospitality career started while attending college at Belmont University. She started working at the Holiday Inn Vanderbilt while in college and worked her way up to the Sales Department. Just a few of her accomplishments, Director of Sales and Marketing for the historic Hermitage Hotel Downtown Nashville, Opening Director of Sales for the Homewood Suites in the old historic Doctor’s building downtown Nashville and Director of Sales for the Hyatt Place Brentwood.
She credits much of her success in her career by a gift from a former boss of a Dale Carnegie course. That course gave me the confidence in myself to become the leader I am today.
She is currently a board member for the Tennessee Business Travel Association where she is charged with growing their membership. She has held the position of President of a local Chamber of Commerce, Past Chair of Women In Business and been awarded Business Woman of the Year.
She enjoys traveling, attending any sporting event and entertaining at home with family and friends.”
