Laura Womack has been the Executive Director of The Fairgrounds Nashville since August 2016 when she and her husband relocated to Nashville from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Laura previously served as the Chief of Administration and External Affairs for Milwaukee County Department of Parks, Recreation and Culture. She holds a bachelor’s degree with a double major in Biology and Natural Science/Mathematics from Concordia University Wisconsin and a master’s degree in Public Health from Tulane University. Laura is a member of the International Association of Venue Managers and she, along with her team, has a goal of being named a Venue of Excellence through that organization. Laura and her husband enjoy their three dogs and cat, exploring Metro and state parks, hiking, kayaking, and cooking for friends.
